In 2019, after giving birth to a one-pound preemie, Tashauna began her healthcare journey as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Motivated by her daughter and fueled by resilience, she advanced to Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and is now a Registered Nurse (RN).

Her career spans diverse roles in:

• Long-Term Care (LTC)

• Correctional Nursing

• Psychiatric & Addiction Care

• Medical-Surgical Units

• Clinical Adjunct Instruction

• Nursing Management as a Staff Developer & Certified Infection Control Nurse

But beyond clinical skills, her greatest gift has been her natural ability to mentor others—nursing students, coworkers, and aspiring professionals who felt stuck, overwhelmed, or lost in their career path.
